Wineries from all over the Keystone state will gather at Seven Springs Mountain
Resort for the 25th annual Seven Springs Wine Festival, August 25-27, 2017!
One of the largest events of its kind in the state, the Seven Springs Wine Festival presents 30 wineries
including Allegheny Wine Cellars, Heritage Wine Cellars, Glades Pike Winery, Hauser Estate Winery,
Presque Isle Wine Cellars, Shade Mountain Winery and the Winery at Wilcox. Festival guests can sample
hundreds of different tastes, combinations and vintages, as well as purchase their favorites to take
“Seven Springs wine festival is a fantastic way to sample wines from 30 different wineries from
throughout Pennsylvania,” said Jennifer Eckinger, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Winery
Association. “This is a great opportunity to try wines from the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Erie, Harrisburg
and Scranton areas all within a single weekend. Seven Springs is the perfect setting for attendees to
sample the diverse variety of wines that Pennsylvania has to offer.”
A complimentary wine check service will be available to festival attendees. This service allows guests to
purchase their favorite wines on-site and have them stored for pick-up.
The festival also features a variety of delicious foods from the Seven Springs culinary team including an
expansive mashed potato bar, a variety of creative festival foods and more. Helen’s Restaurant will be
open for lunch service through the weekend. Helen’s recently won its sixth consecutive Award of
Excellence from Wine Spectator, recognizing its extensive and unique wine list.
Between tastings, guests can peruse more than 25 unique and creative artisans and crafters from
around the area including glassblower James Byrnes, who will be making a variety of glassware,
including wine glasses, on-site at the festival. Laurel Vista Farms of Somerset, PA, will be in attendance
selling a variety of locally-grown and jarred produce, as well as blacksmith demonstrations from David
King and wood-carving demonstrations from Grant Rogers.
The event’s live entertainment selection includes The Stickers, Rob Bayne, Totally 80s, No Bad JuJu and
The Joseph Sisters.
